The workshop is based at the three star
Virginia Court Hotel
in Cromer. The hotel is just a few minutes walk from the
photogenic Cromer Pier. The workshop will begin at midday on
Friday and finish on Sunday Afternoon. The workshop is limited
to around eight participants, and includes all accommodation with private ensuite rooms and all meals included.
The hotel has a large
restaurant, a bar area and a large lounge where we will have
plenty of areas to discuss techniques and go through some
photoshop work on a laptop.
This workshop will cover locations on both the
Norfolk Broads & the Norfolk Coast.

Workshop Plan
DAY ONE FRIDAY AFTERNOON
On day one we will head straight to the Norfolk Broads National
Park where we can capture images of various drainage mills, we
will continue photographing on the Broads until sunset. Following
sunset we will return back to the Hotel where we can sit down for
our evening meal.
DAY TWO
On day two we will wake up for an early morning sunrise over
Cromer Pier, luckily we will not have far to travel as the pier is
just a five minute walk from the Hotel so this will give everyone
a bit more of a lay in. Following sunrise we will return back to
the Hotel for Breakfast, guests are then free to return to their
room for a couple of hours. Shortly before lunch we will head out
with a pack lunch provided by the hotel chef. For the afternoon we
will be heading up the Norfolk Coast where we will stay until
after sunset. Following our evening meal in the hotel we will also
have the chance to go through some of the images on the computer
from the last two days and work through using Adobe Lightroom And
Adobe Photoshop.
DAY THREE
On our final day we will begin at sunrise just down the coast at
the wonderful village of Happisburgh, here we can capture images of
the ruined sea defences and the wonderful Happisburgh
Lighthouse. Following sunrise we will head back to the hotel for
breakfast and a final catch up.

Night Star Trails Photography
As we will be staying close to remote areas away from light pollution
there will also be opportunities for participants to try some
night and painting with light photography during the evenings
should they wish.
