New Two Day Workshop Announced

As the three day Norfolk Broads boat workshop for October is fully booked I have decided to add a new two night residential workshop for October. This workshop will concentrate on both the Norfolk Broads & the Norfolk Coast. This workshop is staying at the 3star Virginia Court Hotel In Cromer and includes all accomidation and meals. All rooms are private ensuite rooms. I am currently offering a discount of £100.00 on all bookings made before the 31st May 2010. 2010 Update 

Its been a busy few months and I am slightly behind on all my processing. I have just returned from six weeks away in the Peak District taking winter images for a forthcoming book on the area. Luckily we had plenty of snow, in fact we had a bit too much snow and it was quite difficult to get around the area with lots of the smaller country roads closed. I managed to come away with plenty of images so I now have over 30 GB worth of images to process and a few commercial jobs to catch up on before I can get started. 2010 is going to be a busy year for me with five books due for completion in June. I will also be relocating from Norwich to the village of Martham around the same time, being located on the Norfolk Broads and only two miles from the coast should create lot's more opportunities for myself. I will also be adding a selection of new photography articles and writing a regular monthly blog on this site.

Workshops

All spring one day workshops are quickly filling up, but I will also be introducing a selection of new two and three night resedientaial workshops. The plan is to offer one in Norfolk, one in Derbyshire and one in Northumberland. I will be adding further details on these over the next month. Thank you to all 2009 workshop particpants I have enjoyed some great company, seen some great images and made some good friends along the way.

New Photography Articles Page    

I often get lots of emails asking for advice on shooting particular subjects, one of the ones that always pops up is Night & Star Trails photography. I have decided to add an articles page to this site where I will be adding a selection of articles over the next few months packed full of tips and tricks.

Five New Books Announced    

I am currently working on images for five new books for which I have been commissioned for, three books cover locations in Norfolk, one in Suffolk & one in the Peak District. A selection of new images shot for these books will be added to this site over the next six months including a large number on new panoramic images. Panoramic images are shot using a specialist panoramic tripod head and then stitched together in computer software, working in this way ensures a massive file with excellent detail is captured capable of being printed over a large area.

Three Day Norfolk Broads October Boat Workshop Date Announced   

Three day Norfolk Broads boat workshop date announced.
This unique workshop includes all accommodation and transport, by using a boat we will be able to moor up next to some of the more remote windmills that are not always accessible by foot. As we will also be staying on a large boat there will be no travelling time to arrive at our location in time for dawn as we will already be there. Guests will also have plenty of opportunities to achieve some unique star trail and night images on the Norfolk Broads. For more details please click here.
