I am really pleased to announce I have had my image of Thornham selected as third place in this years International Garden Photographer of the year competition for the category breathing spaces. It’s only the second time I have entered this one and was also lucky to have an image selected as a finalist when I last entered two years ago. I am not someone who enters many competitions or gives them much thought, normally they are all a bit of a last minute thing with me, but 2017 was obviously a lucky one as I only entered this one and the UK landscape photographer of the year and had some success in both.
